Frequently Asked Questions

Who can benefit from joining the Circular Council?

From corporations and startups to governments and civic organizations, anyone seeking to future-proof their impact and competitiveness can benefit. Our work helps partners unlock new revenue streams, enhance brand equity, access green funds, and align with global sustainability goals.

What is the Circular Council?

The Circular Council is a global nexus of businesses, governments, and communities dedicated to advancing circular innovation. We accelerate the shift from linear to regenerative models by driving collaboration, funding, and systemic solutions.

What areas does the Circular Council focus on?

Our core pillars are:

  • Access Models (subscriptions, lease & renting)

  • Circular Sales Systems (reuse, resale, refurbish, remanufacturing)

  • Green Funds (unlocking capital for circular innovation)

  • Cross-Sector Collaboration (building resilient networks across B2B and B2G)

Why was the Circular Council founded?

It began as an initiative and project, founded by Liliana Rosario to extend the lifecycle of textiles. After participating in international impact programs, including Impact Hub, the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (U.S. Department of State), and the EU’s collaborative networks, the vision expanded. The Circular Council emerged to address not just products, but the regeneration of entire economies.

What makes the Circular Council different from other sustainability initiatives?

Where many initiatives focus on incremental change, the Circular Council focuses on bold, systemic transformation. We reimagine economic systems, empower access over ownership, and mobilize capital to fuel regenerative growth.
